Carrying Out Project Reviews in Notion (+ Free Template)

Regular project reviews are crucial for understanding how you operate best, identifying areas for improvement, and maximizing productivity. As a business owner or freelancer, taking the time to evaluate your progress can help you stay motivated and focused. By assessing your successes and challenges, you can gain insight into who you work best with, identify areas that need improvement, and develop a more effective approach for future projects

In this video, I share with you a simple project review template that I use for my clients in Notion. I'll also discuss how to carry out project reviews and why they're important.

The Importance of Project Reviews

Project reviews are an essential part of any business or freelance operation. They help you evaluate your progress, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate your successes. By regularly conducting project reviews, you'll ensure that your actions are always aligned with your desired outcomes. You'll also attract the right clients and be able to identify any leaks in your operations before they get bigger.

Creating your Notion Project Review Template

Here is the project review template that I use for my clients in Notion. You can either use it as an inspiration or copy my exact template.

  1. Client's Name

  2. How did this client find out about you?

  3. Was this an ideal client to work with? If so, why? If not, why not?

  4. What services did we provide the client?

  5. How long did it take to complete the process?

  6. What went well? What didn't go so well? How did we navigate those challenges?

  7. What lessons did we learn? What changes can we make based on those lessons?

  8. Would you recommend this client to your network and/or work with them in the future?

  9. Any additional notes.
